Hi all...new to the smoking scene here. 60 years old and retired, but take technology contracts on occassion, and travel on occassion. I am inspired by smoked and grilled products I have sampled from around the world, particularly Southeast Asia!
During August, after a month long trip to Michigan, I will be purchasing a Char Griller Akorn (probably an Auto). I do hear unfortunate things about the probes and thermometers on these, but going to give it a try anyway. Also, I know they used to make the Akorn in ceramic, but those were discontinued awhile back...correcxt?
