Hello everyone. My name is Jay and I am up here in North Central Kansas and I am a true rookie at smoking. Been browsing the forums for a little while deciding on a smoker to buy. I bought myself the Masterbuilt XL propane smoker for Christmas and a Maverick ET-732. After seasoning the smoker I decided to smoke a turkey for New Years Eve as my first ever smoking attempt. With lots of research on this site, it turned out great. Up next is a pork butt. If that turns out as good I will be in trouble. I am gonna have a fridge full of food from smoking so much. Lots of good info on this site to help a new guy out.
