I live in Mountain Home, ID which is about 40 miles SE of Boise. Just got a Cabela's Premium Stainless Steel 7-in-1 Cooker/Smoker the end of May. I've used it 5 times so far, doing something different each time. First was a rack of Baby back Ribs, then a whole Chicken, followed by a rack of Lamb, a Brisket, then lastly some Beef Ribs. Been doing research each time for different rubs and sauces. even been experimenting with different woods for them as well. Having a blast with it. I hope to keep learning as I go.

As for the woodcarving part of the name, its just a hobby. Don't worry, I mainly use basswood for that, so I'm not dipping into my smoking wood. I use chips anyway.
