Hello Everyone,

Longtime lurker from Boca Raton, Florida. I appreciate everyone’s input here so thought I’d finally sign up.

I originally came to the forum for help with my WSM. I used this only a handful of times as it took to much attention during the cooks.

I was going buy a pellet next, but bought A medium BGE from a friend. I came back to the forum because I needed to get this new one dialed in. I loved it so much that I am picking up a Kamado Joe Classic tomorrow!! Screaming deal at ace for the old model for 699.

I’ll be selling my wsm and green egg and keeping the joe and Weber genesis.

Here is my first cook on the egg. Pork shoulder. I couldn’t wait out the stall due to surprise guests, she was finished in the oven till 203. I wasn’t crazy about the bark from the bge. Cooked with a water pan with water and apple cider vinegar. Taste was incredible though!!!
