Hello from Elk River Minnesota

Hi Terry here. I am new to this smoking stuff. I picked up a Little Chief smoker from CraigsList and am attempting to make some bacon. I have a couple guys at work that smoke meat and I have picked up a little info from them. I work as a machinist and in my spare time chase around one or more of my 7 grand children. I have three grown sons who have blessed me with some beautiful babies. We live in a rural development, and care for our 2.5 acre plot. I will stop boring you now and start trolling the site and see if I can learn something. I plan on building a permanent smokehouse in my back yard if things work out.
