So I filled out my ACA application just to see what it said. It telling me I qualify for$1611 Tax Credit a month. Maybe there is hope.
Mine has a decent tax credit too ($575). Not sure what too believe. I have a call with my consultant Wednesday. See what they have to say about all this…

Base prices jumped alot and seems like big changes to deductibles and copays or lack thereof. 30% coinsurance after deductible for PCP and specialists I cant live with. I have several specialists and that would drive up my out of pocket.

Considering a higher premium with lower deductible so my meds will consume the deductible and ultimately cost less annually...I think... need to step away for a while before I go back to it.

Unless you are uber rich, or uber poor, you are just a ping pong ball in the healthcare game. Those in the middle pretty much get hosed.

Look into Christian Healthcare Ministries.

It's a health care sharing plan.

There are numerous other ones out there too.

It's a health care sharing plan. Much better than Odumbo Care.

There are numerous other ones out there too.
I'll look in to these, but not sure its a good fit at my age and range of healthcare needs.

I found a ACA UHC Gold that Doctor will except. $500 detectable and about $8000 out of pocket. Premium $166 with tax credit. Just got to stay healthy another 6 months! Will discuss with broker next week.

That is WAY better than I can get in Colorado. Lowest deducible I found was $2050 with a monthly premium of $435 a month.

If I renew my current plan its $6000 deducible and $235 a month.

I am confident I can use the $2050 up pretty quick, which makes the higher premium more attractive. I meet with my consultant in 30 minutes. Really want to hear what she says about the tax credits.
