Beebopped into the local Brookshire's and found some nice looking Hatch chili's. Then turned the corner and found some of the best looking select Rib eyes and I wasn't even there for rib eyes (always cruise through the meat section!) I've been using B&B bricketts all summer but Walmart was out so I'm giving the Cowboy Bricketts a run sprinkled with some Mesquite chips. The bomb! Got these Chili's cleaned, sealed and in the freezer.

Y'all! These steaks were freaking excellent! Nice to score every once in a while.

I've become such a Hatch Chili fan boy.

Hope everyone has a great rest of your week. NFL kicks off Thursday night!
HIT SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!

Which store you go to?

I picked up an extra bag last time in there. I been afraid of them running out.

Those Ribeye's look great!
Brookshire's in Pottsboro. It's a really nice store to have close to the house but I have to shop around for price on some things. The meat there is hit or miss. Those steaks were a hit! It's crazy how tender those little ribeye's were. I've got 2 more vac sealed in the freezer too!

I was in our local Fred Meyer (part of the Kroger family) this morning, and was very surprised to see a huge display of mild and hot hatch chilis, 49 cents/pound!

They looked fresh as could be. Didn't expect to see them this late, this far north. I've already got a freezer full, plus some carryover from last year, so I had to exercise considerable self control to not buy more.

One of the river rats went to Colorado and brought some back. I have a freezer full so did not take any. I asked where are the beans? I ask him to bring some back. He said the place that had them was 2.5 hours away:emoji_disappointed:

Heck I've been looking for and excuse to go to Colorado for a month! This would be as good as any but a few things have popped up so I'll look for another opportunity soon.
