So, I've read through 11 pages of threads, the ones I thought I needed to read for making a small smoke shack.

What I have kinda gathered is Durock is a NO GO for lining any portion of a small smoker, but Hardibacker is OK.   The only reason I bring this up, both products are being used, and some threads are not really saying where they used the item.

What say you for an inner lining?

Thanks

I would use the one that is fiber reinforced...  only to accommodate expansion and contraction and not have it fall apart...

The fiber enforced has been a NO GO for interior use, from what I have read.
