How is it that National BBQ Day wasn't fixed to a specific day (third Saturday in May, for example) rather than a date, which allows it to crop up on weekdays when fewer people can celebrate it appropriately?

Beef ribs will go on the RT in 2.5 hours...... they will be joined by some bacon mac!
