hello all and happy Easter. I'm Glenn from Attleboro Massachusetts

 and I just bought a brinkman side by side gas grill& charcoal smoker. thought I'd try the smoker side with a few half chickens. any tips on controlling the heat would be welcome. get your smoke on!

Hey Glenn, hello and welcome to SMF, does it have a damper at the bottom or on the fire box, if so that is how you regulate the heat.  Maybe post some pictures to better help.

:welcome1: , neighbor and happy Easter. I don't know anything about that smoker , but you'll get good advice presently. Have fun smoking and take lots of pix !
