Hey all, as the title says… just had to share this! My better half sent me this earlier today!

$5/gal at Costco the day before yesterday. Seeing close to $6/gal at many pumps. I actually waited longer in the line at the gas pumps than I did checking out inside! My wife and I used to joke that we couldn't get out of Costco without spending $500 on necessities. It won't be long and we'll be saying that about the GAS PUMPS!

Guy in front of me at the convenance store told the clerk "Give me five bucks worth of gas" she farted and handed him a receipt

Good one.... Was $5.60 yesterday but I didn't check it today.... Probably $6.00 or higher...

I paid 4.99 yesterday for diesel and 4.19 today for regular unleaded

I hadn’t paid attention to my tank and was so low on the way home I was worried about making it, but the lines were so long I coasted. Plan is to get up before sunrise to fill up, but I told my oldest I have to pull her out of school to work and pay for my gas. I was expecting her to react differently, she got excited and said “Really! Where!” With a big smile. If only she knew!!!!!!!! Stay young!

I'm thankful to have to only fill up my 2500 diesel every 3-4 months at Sam's, $4.75 yesterday.

I quit driving a couple years ago, but I hope they reprogrammed the Gas Pumps. When I was still driving, they had a $50 limit on a fill-up. I had to re-insert my credit card 3 times to fill my Ram 1500.

That's funny! Now days it's a big decision...do I really need gas or should I just buy a big ole chuck roast?

I have saved up my points from one of the local convenience stores and now have $0.60 off up on up to 25 gal. Told the son yesterday to take the Duramax and two 5-gallon cans and make sure he gets his 25 gallons worth!

I'm with Al. The only place I drive now is to the grocery a couple of times a week and doctor appointments for the Mrs.
It's not unusual to go 3 months without buying gas. If I have to spend a few dollars more so be it. Heck, a lb of 80/20 chuck is $5.99....

We call that the D******t double/triple swipe.

Our gas went up 3 times this week. Using the interrupter clause , just a polite way to say bend over.

It finished at $ 1.879 a litre and Diesel was $ 2.016 Litre
so there are 3.7854 litres in a US gal = $ 7.11 per gal for reg. gas here

I average $ 350.00 - $ 425.00 per month before the big jump at the pumps
and Of coarse I filled up on Thursday because I was getting too low and I was not empty $ 129.00

THAN of coarse they dropped the price at Midnight 15 cents per litre, just my luck ( $ 1.729 )
Wish I could get all my tools in Monas car....

But Bank says I have to keep working for now
