Missouri was set to get some much needed rain but before it did I had a set of ribs needing to be cooked.  Followed a 3-2-1 method using a simple rub that has allot of sweetness with just a touch of pepper.  This was the first rub that the wife really liked.  I smoked these with a combination of 3 parts cherry to 1 part hickory.  They were great.

It is a homemade rub that I make. The family likes it sweet.

It is rather basic.
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup course black pepper
1/2 cup paprika
1 tbsp cayenne pepper
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup kosher salt

My first word out of me was.... Oh nice................ Great job

Looking real good!

Rub is similar to one I use, but I add a good bit of onion powder also.
