I've been in touch with Seth at bbqpelletsonline.com and trying to put together a group buy for Lumberjack pellets. Right now we have 2, each taking 1/4 ton, if we can find others to cover the remaining 1/2 ton, the price drops almost in half to under 40¢/lb.
The only real kink is you do have to pick up from a one location and all have to meet to pick up at the same time.
