Uh-oh. I'm going to have to check my freezer.

Edit: I have two 3 lb chubs, but they were packed about 2 weeks prior to this date, so I think I'm safe.

Gotta say this is why I like my local “ground in store daily” beef. Iknow not everyone has that option but it’s one i gladlypay a small premiumfor.

I buy primal cuts and custom grind at home. Vac seal and freeze. A little tedious but sort of relaxing at the same time. Here is another recall involving 70 tons of ground beef:
