Grinding spices

I once had a nice burr type grinder. Really liked the consistent size it produced. Grinding speed was good too. Sadly I don't have it anymore or even remember the brand in order to replace it.

Thanks for the help! Sounds like I’m on the right track with putting in the mixer first and then grinding. I’ll take a look at the grinder recommendations!
I have a cheap'o coffee grinder, same style as above.
Mine used to blow fine dust everywhere as well, until I put two big rubber bands around the bottom of the grinder cup, to act as a seal. It doesn't blow the fines anywhere now, cheap and easy, give it a try.

I have a magic bullet from when they first came out in the early 2000's. That thing is a beast! It's a fair amount bigger than the magic bullets that came after it. It's great for marinade prep. The issue I'm having is the blender plate is starting to leak a tad. The base is still chugging along strong!

I really wish I could find extra base plates for it.
