A simple burger cookout with the Traeger Pro 34 outfitted with Smoke Daddy Inc’s direct sear station and a 4 piece set of GrillGrates 19.25” grates. With this length it is ideal for entirely removing the Traeger grate when I have the direct sear station installed. Cooking directly on top of the firepot with the GrillGrates! Today it was flat side up!

This is also the configuration I use when doing a reverse sear. I push the grates off the firepot with the steaks smoking towards the chimney side.

Looks real good!
I was thinking of having burgers for dinner, but I think we are going to make that pizza dough that was posted a couple of days ago. It has been raining here all day so I guess I'll have to move the Kettle under the veranda & use a pizza stone!

Man that sounds good, Big Brother.

I am actually in Europe and having to relive a cook we had before I left!

I wanna drop in for one of your cooks!
