Grilled up some steaks tonight. Used grainy mustard and a beef rub on them and used Jack Daniel's wood chips for smoke.

Tasty! SAdly, likely the last grilled steaks until spring as the unit needs to go away soon. Temps are dropping to mid-40's!

Looks real good from here. Mid-forties that's still summer here. I just did a few Tbones the other night - temps were 40's but the wind chill made it feel worse.

Sometimes I am thankful for the crazy South Carolina weather, I would hate to have to put my grill up for the winter!!. Steak looks great!!
 
Gosh I know plenty of the guys who brush the snow off & start grilling, or smoking in freezing cold weather. Down here in Florida we don’t do much smoking in the summer, cause it’s just too hot. We really look forward to the cooler weather, so we can open up the windows & fire up the smokers & grills!
