Tonight I decided to grill chicken drumsticks. I don't particularly like dark meat, but I figured I'd give this a try since the kids love drumsticks.
Rinsed and dried the chicken first.
Then seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, paprika and a tiny bit of cayenne pepper.
I put them on the grill (a mix of Stubbs lump, Kingsford and apple wood) in the drumstick / jalapeno cooker.
After 10 - 15 minutes when the meat had firmed up, I finished them directly on the grill.
I coated them with Stubbs bbq sauce and voila.
I loved them. My wife said they were too salty and spicy. My two kids said they were spicy but they loved them too.
