That looks delicious! I'm surprised though that they weren't falling apart tender with that marinade.

When I was a kid, we used to get Filet of Chuck steaks that looked like filet mignon, but way cheaper. Very tender. I've never seen Chuck Eye steaks, I wonder if that's the same or similar.
I going to try your method of cutting in strips and use teriyaki sauce.

We really like Eye of Chuck steaks since trying them last year. Our local grocery runs them on sale occasionally. It's looks great as usual Bear and that Pineapple-Teriyaki marinate sounds like something I need to try!
