I have a gas grill with 4 cast iron burners. It seems to be lacking the heat it used to have so I took out the grates and the baffles and started it up and seems that the burners are a little clogged up. I was wondering if anyone one here has had this same problem and how they fixed it? should i take a wire brush to them and hope for the best or is there a better way?

Hey lenny, a wire brush will work butt if not take them out and tap with a hammer. You should be able to just look at them in the dark and see which holes are clogged.

we work on commercial food service equipment andf one of the old tricks we use is we put ball bearings or a couple small hex nuts inside the burner and shake it around for a bit and then take the nuts back out. good as new!

All of the above work well and quite often IMO it is spiders making small nests in the jets.

Quite common.
