Hello all. As this is my first post, I guess the proper thing to do is to introduce myself and inform you of my smoking skill level (or lack thereof). I am retired for the most part, but do work a bit for a local non-profit in the alternate transportation field. I am an avid fisherman, which is why I started smoking in my Little Chief many years ago. I am about to embark on my summer salmon fishing trips on the west coast of Vancouver Island in a couple of weeks.
A couple of years back I bought a Bradley Digital Smoker that I have made a ton of good food in including ribs, chicken, fish, and brisket. Just recently I purchased a large Big Green Egg and have been having a ton of fun learning how to use it properly. I've used it quite a lot and have been happy with the results of everything I have made in it (and so have those that helped me eat the food!).
A question I have for forum members is: what do you consider the best Big Green Egg accessories to have? I have a plate-setter, 3-tiered rack, ash tool and ash pan. Looking forward to your replies, and being a contributing forum member.
