Hello all…
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m in the market for a pellet grill. My budget is $700.00, I’m a newbie (hence my forum name). I’d like to get an egg style pellet grill but, I’m open to other style’s as well. I’d like to know what others opinions are.

Welcome to SMF from Colorado.

I have had a Rec Teq for at least a decade and love it. works every time just like it should. their customer service is the best I have ever experienced. Highly recommend. Theyt have a couple around your budget. Check em out

I started on a WSM, which was a good start and I learned a lot, but it was more hands on. The rec Teq is very easy and makes killer Q with a wide range of temps.

The only egg style pellet that I am aware of is this one: Even Embers

As far as a pellet grill in your range, you can't go wrong with a RecTeq Warrior. I was going to say Green Mountain, but their prices have jumped. Some folks swear by the Pit Boss Mahogany, but I can't speak from experience.

Welcome from Virginia! I'm not up to speed on the current state of pellet poopers, but you just have to ask your self what bells and whistles you favor. Mine is plain jane Camp Chef 24 inch with no sear ability and runs a little cheaper than your budget, and I kick out some good chow from it every once in a while.
