Hey guys , Shaun here  I'm new to sfm i found this site while doing research on a refrigerator i plan on turning into a smoker.I have previously built a charcoal smoker out of 18' water main, once it was built had to build something else, I'm just one of those guys that see something and know i can build it.i hate to spend money on something that i can make and make it bigger and better. Im also an avid hunter and fisherman  and want to try my hand at making  my own sausage  deer sticks and jerky this year . I hope to learn a few tips and tricks and pass on a few things I may know . Thanks guys.

Hi Shaun and welcome to the group!  You've found a good and friendly place to share ideas on all things related to smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  We enjoy helping and encouraging each other, so if you need anything just ask...someone here will surely have the answer.

And good luck with your fridge conversion project...lots of members here have done those.  You can browse the fridge/freezer build section and probably get lots of good ideas/tips:
