Hello all, I have been a member for a couple years but have never posted or done an introduction. I have an MES 40 gen 2 controlled with an Auberins WSD-1501GPH. Every year around this time (end of hunting season) I make a lot of Elk & Venison summer sausage, snack sticks, smoked & fresh brats, jerky, breakfast sausage & other goodies that go along with processing wild game.
I don't do much hunting myself anymore but I am the guy with all the equipment, so I buy the seasonings & the pork butts & my buddies supply the game & pitch in with sausage making. In return, I get half the finished product & a full freezer.
Is there a "sticky" anywhere with the definitions for all the abbreviations i.e. MES, SMF, etc? I know what those two are but abbreviations are used frequently around here & I can't figure out a bunch of them.
