We are finally getting things cranked up around here. Still more things to go in but we are slowly getting things done. As many of you know we grow hydroponically we use some "different" systems but it is hydroponic. We still have a new greenhouse to get up and running, more outside growing area prepared, an orchard to plant, and a bunch of blueberries to go in somewhere.

    Onions

    Jalapenos

    Potatoes

    Tomatoes

    Squash

    Cucumbers

Dave the idea behind a trap crop is to plant something very close to your crop that the pests prefer. They say many pests would rather be on sunflowers and marigolds so we are planting them all the way around the perimeter this is a first try for us so we'll see what happens

Looks great Jerry.  We are planting now too.

What kind of pests will the trap stop?

    Bugs or rabbits?

    I hate rabbits.

Adam they claim stink bugs and many pests prefer the sunflowers and marigolds. They also claim buckwheat is another good trap crop

  16. Wow !!!   That is neat. I like the trap crop, makes a lot of sense   That makes my little garden look pretty pitiful  Now I know who to ask when I have plant problems.

pinney, my wife was drooling when I showed her your pics. What are the white stacking pots for your lettuce called?
She might be interested in working with those.
    Thanks
