I see GMG has redesigned their grill recently, has anybody here tried one of the new one yet? I currently have a Daniel Boone Prime Plus and it's had a couple minor problems, but overall been a great unit. Like the upgrades they have made on the new ones as far as design, thinking of getting the Peak model but I really don't NEED a bigger one....

Just curious who has some hands on with the new grills(I understand they have changed manufacturers) and how they compare to the older models.

Thanks!

I have used a GMG Davy Crocket for several. I had planned on using it on our RV but was a little too heavy for taking it on and off the RV so have been using it in the back yard.
I recently bought the new Ledge and I couldn't be happier!!! It's a beautiful grill and the temperature control is amazing. It has an outside port that you can vacuum the burner try out and the temperature is very uniform throughout the smoking area.
I also bought the sideburner to sear with but am a little disappointed in it as it doesn't seem to get hot enough to sear and hard to clean. It also uses a lot of current so takes a heavy duty extension cord while using.
Use glass cleaner on the inside of the glass view finder after each use and it will stay like new.
