Lake Texoma
I had mentioned going to purchase a ladder at Ace and instead I came home with the 22" Weber. I was actually blown away with all the newer and more advanced models. Weber makes some great charcoal grills. But I held my ground and didn't get upsold this time. Just a man and his Weber (and my dog/sidekick Willy)🤣

I realized I had lost my way with the pellet cooker. It was time to enjoy cooking on a grill with charcoal again.

We had a great weekend and saw several friends/family and a couple of really good fireworks displays on the waters of beautiful Lake Texoma.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hard to beat a weber kettle! Corn and ribs look killer. I just did some. Dog looks camera shy. I really been missing mine. I remember one time coming back from fireworks at the Roosevelt Bridge I keep missing my turn and ending back at the bridge. Was running low on gas and told my buddy to shut up and I found my way back.

Looks like a fun time and some good chow Randy. Enjoy that Weber. I think there's at least one other member that uses a Weber.

Point for sure
Chris

Yeah I've been on this lake for over 50 years. Oh the stories I could tell but never will 😆🤣

it's easy to get lost on Texoma during the day, much less at night. Never get complacent when on the water. I've learned that lesson the hard way too.

Thanks to everyone for the likes. Those pic my wife took while on the lake were too good not to share.

Wow! Some great looking food! And is that a homemade Vortex I see?
Nice scenery too!
If I recall correctly I got that from the Cajun Bandit and I think that's the large one? They have so much cool stuff for weber cookers. I've had it for a while but been using it in my WSM with some modifications. Trying to multi task with the WSM wasn't working too well for me so that was another incentive to get a kettle. I already have a lot of accessories to go with it.

FYI - I finally got a ladder 🤣
