I've been looking for a resource like this for quite some time. I've been smoking and processing meats for about 20 yrs now and still have questions. I originally started to get away from the high prices of butcher shops since we grow our own beef and hogs. It has now evolved into a hobby that I love to experiment with. I'm from southern Minnesota but spend as much time as possible in the northern part of state. I've smoked everything from whole meats such as chicken, ducks, turkeys, fish venison, pork, beef to many different kinds of sausage. Looking forward to using and contributing to this forum.
