Great Finishing Baste (low-sugar, keto friendly): Balsamic Vinegar

On a hunch tonight--about 30 minutes before they were due to be done--I basted my wings with straight out of the bottle undiluted apple balsamic vinegar.

Yum.

Balsamic comes in tons of flavors, so i see experimentation in my future. I suspect pear will be fabulous!

Near me we got a specialty store for olive oil etc. <The owners and staff are a bit..ahh stuck up, but they got good product> ... they have some thing like 40 kinds of Balsamic... which my favourite is expresso. Wonder if that would work on wings..

I just looked at mine's website again. They added bacon olive oil to their line up. I'm now envisioning expresso balsamic and bacon olive oil being used for wings to just completely make people think it's BBQ for breakfast.
