Hmm.....grape juice brine is a new one for me. How did the chicken turn out (purple inside) and how was the taste...like grape juice? And what wood did you smoke it with? Thanks!!

It does look real good.
 
Yeah, it did have a slight hint of the grape juice in the skin but not so much in the meat. Granted I only brined it for 2 hours. I usually do it over night but got rushed. I used Amazen pitmasters choice pellets in the tray with my new MED 40 gen 1.
