Picked it up Friday night, Put it together in about an hour and a half.

did the Season smoke on it Saturday morning. I am surprised it heated up to 505 degrees on high ! I have seen alot of posts about smoke "leaking" around the lid area but the one i got did not do that also i seen how the lid is recessed a little where the one i looked at did not . Not sure if this is a upgrade from PitBoss .

smoked Beef ribs after the initial pre-season and i will have to do some adjustments to get more smoke flavor into the meat but over all the meat was good.

I also like the fact that this one has a plate in the bottom that the "juice and fat" runs to the side and into a bucket.

I will smoke some more with it and get some pics .

Looks real good!
Looking forward to seeing it in action!
I love the mat!
Where did you get it?

Looks good, I would recommend getting the AMNTS for the extra smoke. Only took me smoking in my Woodwind 1 time before I pulled the trigger and ordered the oval 12"-18" expanding AMNTS.

thinking about it but i also want to try adjusting the "p" setting and since it was just one smoke on it want to try more and different meats to see how they come out .
