Well since 3am...thinking I might have wanted to do an overnight smoke instead but life happens.

8lb butt with Oakridge BBQ Dominator Sweet Rub smoking at 225 on the GM Daniel Boone with Weber Connect WiFi probe.

We'll have to dedicate 5/2 as national butt day. Lot of members smoke'n up some butts today. :emoji_slight_smile:

I'll be starting mine at noon tomorrow (Sunday) for a 7-8PM finish.
I normally do 6-8 lbs, was only able to get 4 1/4 lb yesterday. I just finished the prep, brown & turbinado sugar, garlic, S & P, onion, mustard, adobo etc etc rub. Then injected with apple juice, Franks hot sauce, whorchestershire, etc, let it sit in refer overnight.
