Just won an auction on E-BAY for a MES30. $243.00, including freight. Can't wait! I've never smoked with an electric smoker. I have a propane smoker that I'm gonna convert to a cold smoker. "She who must be obeyed" thinks I'm nuts. Having 9 smokers and grills, she's probably right. Gonna have to have a big yard sell. I'm looking forward to it. Mostly to see if electricity will cook more even. In the past I've had trouble keeping an even temp with wood and propane. Thinking I might christen it with a pork butt.
Any of you that have a MES30 have any tips that I need to know.? Bought a amnps also. Think I'll get one for dust too, for the cold smoker.
