started smoking 10 years ago on a WSM. Gave that away to a new convert and got a Weber Kamado E6, which I use only for smoking. If I need a charcoal grill I have a Weber kettle does that job and for quick cooks a Weber Gensis II (NG). My favorite smoked item is baby back ribs. My favorite smoking wood is a combination of pecan and cherry.
