Good Morning from Massachusetts

Hi everyone,

Recently I've been shopping for a smoker, and have found myself spending hours online comparing, researching, and determining what is best for my needs.  All of that brought me to SMF, and I am thrilled with the amount of information and knowledge I found here.

I have been grilling most of my life, and I'm excited to get into smoking.  Between other sources and these forums I have decided on a Landmann 3895GWLA (38" two drawer wide) propane smoker.  It's out of stock at most retailers, so I contacted Landmann directly and they gave me a date around September first.  However, the nice lady took my name and number and is going to contact me if they get in sooner so I can order directly through them.

In the mean time, I will continue reading and learning from all of you!

Hello and nice to meet everyone!

Scarbelly-  I see on Amazon they have the Landmann 3895GLA (38x16x16 cabinet) 17 in stock.  But I was worried about smoking full racks and turkeys if that would be large enough?  So I am interested in the 3895GWLA (38x24x16 cabinet) which are not in stock.  Same thing as the GLA but and extra 8" in width.

I think I will make a new thread in the correct place and ask everyone what they think about the size difference, and if the smaller Landmann can accommodate my needs.  Thanks for the welcome everyone!
