hey everybody, Thomas here . . . . after watching diners drive in's and dives one to many times and seeing some of the amazing things that can be done with a smoker i decided i wanted to start a new hobby for myself. thus . . . . i am here. i live in Albuquerque, NM and currently do not own a smoker (another reason i am here lol).

while i am new to the meat smoking community, i am NOT, however, new to the forum community so dont worry . . . no questions asked before searching over here . . . . and look at that . . . . . a nice big search bar . . . . . im in heaven . . . .lol

so anywhoo there is my half as$'d intro wish i could say more but . . . time to get to reading . . .

Welcome Thomas,it's great to have ya.so much info here along with many great people eager and willing to help.read read and read some more than figure which smoker will be right for you.Chat is a good place to hang in the evenings to get to know some of us and bounce some of the questions you are gonna have.

ended up going with the Brinkmann Smoke n' Pit model 8103044s seems like a good smoker. havent put it together yet . . . that is today's project. i have even poured a new concrete pad just for the smoker hahaha pics to come anywhoo more updates to come
