My smoker was working great this weekend. Now doing a brined spatchcock turkey can’t get temp over 210. Was at 230 before putting bird in. Heading towards hr 4. IT is 131. Should I pull it to put in oven or is it ok to ride out since it hasn’t been injected. Need guidance soon. Thanks in advance

Try resetting valve. Turn off. Remove valve and wait a bit. Install and turn on SLOWLY and fire up. Pretty common issue.

yup it is make sure coupling nut is screwed on all the way to open tank value all the way.

I got temp of 240 now but what I’m concerned about is the bird not making it to 140 in 4 hrs. Am I making a bad bird or since not injected just brined am I ok

You were at 131 how long was it without heat. I personalty would not be concerned.

Thanks halfsmoked
Was never w/o heat. Just low temps. Undid all connections then hooked back up. Got rack temp of 255 & rising. No concern??? Ride out until 165 IT

Good enjoy it.

had that happen at an event someone was helping me and they didn't screw the tank fitting up tight and had low flame.
