A couple of coworkers are coming over for the Saints and Tampa Bay game. One is bringing some ribs and I decided to do a pork shoulder. So I set the Webber up with for the snake method with some apple and hickory. Rubbed the meat down with Jeff’s rub and threw it on at about 8:00 last night. Was running right around 223-250 pretty much until 3am. Added some more charcoal and passed out on the couch. Yanked it off the Webber right around 1030 this morning when it hit 203* and have it resting wrapped in a cooler with towels until a little closer to game time then will probably let it sit in warm in a crock pot with some of chef jimmyj chef jimmyj finishing sauce for people to grab. Using the snake method was almost too easy held temp great even in the cold up here. Anyway here are some pics.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Have the finishing sauce being made now. One on the left is jj’s right is one I’ve been using for the sandwich it’s like jj’s just a little more heat it’s
1 and a half cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 TBS paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
And 2 tsp cayenne

Since I like it a little hotter than my family
