I've read that folks do it.
People seem divided 50/50 on the idea, tho.
I just picked one up on sale because my girls love ham. So I started thinking...

Anyone out there have any temps/times,
Ideas/advice/tip/WARNINGS for a newb?

Thanks for any and all replies.
And thanks for everyone being so helpful and patient with a newb.

Bears double smoked ham is one of my favorite cooks . Comes out really good . Use some leftover slices dipped in warm BBQ sauce to make a sandwich .

When you get the hang of the double smoked , take a look at the pulled ham . Crazy good .

Start from scratch!

Well, turned out better than good.
And with tons of leftovers, it's the best $6.00 I've spent in a while...

Also...
This was a really good way for me to start learning how to do temp control on my WSM without fear of "ruining" the meat.

Now you're making me Hungry!!
Nice Job!
Like.
