Does anyone have any good threads or videos I can research about smoking a full pig? I'm thinking of doing one this summer on my pellet smoker.

I tried to use the search feature but couldn't find anything.

I think there's a few more on here , you just have to get the search terms right .

Whole hog is actually easier than many may think. Just size the hog to your pit, don’t crowd the pit. From there it will smoke just like PP. on a pellet cooker you will need a young almost suckling pig, you will also need to rotate and use foil to stop burn but about 10 hours should be expected for cook time but give yourself some room time wise as meat is done when it’s done.

I help out on a yearly pig cook. We are all about the meat and not presentation. We cut off the feet and head. Split it in half, down the spine with a saws all. Cook and pull off parts as they are done.
