Here is a good thread on using a sausage stuffer to make cider - http://www.smoked-meat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9952&highlight=stuffer+apple
Just noticed your post and thought maybe you could use some ideas with your stuffer.
I have an old sausage stuffer I could part with
I believe LEM 5 lb. replacement stuffer gears (metal) will replace the gears in your Grizzly. Better to have them if your stuffer breaks down than to not have them a ruin a sausage project. http://www.lemproducts.com/product/1470/Vertical_Stuffer_PartsOriginally Posted by Princess

cowgirl makes tortilla's with her drill press, this CAN be done! You got skills? I have a 20 ton press, seems to me a plate, the fits inside a cylinder with a hole would do the trick, and then let the press do its thing. I crush oil filters this way, don't think you want to use it to press apples. Juice and 5w30 does not go together.
Or Mother Earth lets you know how to build one out of wood, again got skillz?
lol Yes it can be done! lol Thanks Marty.cowgirl makes tortilla's with her drill press, this CAN be done!

Sounds like a great idea to me!!!!one day i was looking on utube and saw a guy using a garbage disposal so i want on ebay bought a 3/4 horse one for $80.00
with a ten year warrenty put a 16" sink above that and pvc at the bottom and grinded it into a bucket with a fruit sock(inside the bucket)
and took it to the press and it works great... now i can get my pulp to make wine...
