My Grand-kids will eat just about any meat stick (except real hot pepper) that comes there way----they just disappear!!
When the youngest one asked if I brought any of the CHEWY ones----I was a little puzzled. My Daughter explained they like the collagen casings----because there "MORE CHEWY" and if they aren't in the mood for chewy they can peel them off.
When I make any kind of meat stick I use what ever casings I have or am in the mood for ----smoked collagen---collagen ---sheep casings.
So for years I have used the sheep casings----thinking I am making a step up in Quality ----and turns out, the majority prefer the collagen----all that extra cost and hassle. Turns out they prefer the breakfast links in collagen, too.
So, The moral of the story is----YOU MIGHT WANT TO ASK The Kids-----their opinions are based on what they like----not on whether it hurts your feelings.
