Friday BBQ meeting

I had the pleasure of having BBQ at Parker Johns in Menasha Wisconsin with forum member Tom Knolls and his father. They are 2 great guys and BBQ enthusiasts. Hope we can get together in the future.

Did you find the food to be overpriced and underwhelming like most bbq joints?

It's a curse we've all placed on ourselves!

It was actually quite good for the price. Ribs were tender but not falling off the bone. Could have used more salt IMHO but I would eat there again. The brisket chili was excellent.

This place amusingly started as a pizza place and now is known for BBQ! Not Pizza!

I prefer adding salt instead of wishing there was less.
A low sodium person here out of preference.
