They look great! I almost always grind my own sausage these days using about the same spices you used - frozen into one pound flat packages, it is perfect to use in many dishes. I've never tried it by itself in a sandwich though - think I will now.

The problem with the small AirFryers (Like Mine) is the size of the basket, and the size or number of the things to be cooked.
I can easily put 5 sausages (5" long) in one, in one layer & not even touching each other, which is why that is my favorite way to make those sausages.
**If I wanted to do the sausage patties I made above, the most I could get in there would be 3, if I leaned them all against the outside wall of the basket, only touching each other at the bottom.
**The French Fries are Awesome, but you have to limit the batch to barely enough for two people, and be sure to flip them over at least once during the process.
**I made a Stromboli which was a little difficult to flip over but it turned out great when done cooking.
**I only tried Chicken once, but I tried to do 4 Thighs at one time, and they were pretty good sized Thighs, so they had to be stacked. This was one of the first things I tried, and found out you can't stack anything, and expect it to ever get done all the way around, no matter how much extra time you give it.
** Little Smokies were great because I could put a bunch of them in one layer.

***So to sum it up, the Air Fryers are awesome, as long as you can put what you're frying in on one layer & touching each other a little as possible, which is why I say I would love to have the new "Oven" type Hot Air Fryer, because it has shelves to provide more space without stacking the items, and even has a Rotisserie & basket to do French Fries & other things evenly without having to stop & flip them all.

Now I just Hijacked my own Thread. Oh Well---Bear won't mind.

Thank You PZ!!
Try it--I'll bet you'll love it.
However like I said, I find them best Fried, not grilled.
Not sure why---might be because they're juicier when I fry them.
And Thanks for the Like.
