Freezing uncooked picnic roast

I had an unfortunate accident on friday and bottom line is my smoker is down and out. I had a 6# picnic shoulder cut rubbed and injected with apple juice since late thurs. Planned on cooking fri night into sat. Any chance i could freeze this and have it turn out later or is a lost cause? Only $12 into it so not a biggy. Got new smoker outta the deal but no time to do roast until mid week??? Thanks in advance bbq'ers!! Did sneek 2 fatties on tonight at least.

interested to hear the answer. I have brought stuff straight home and frozen it, but never prepped. I dunno...anybody else?

I Do it all the time with steaks so I don't see why you can't do it with pork.

I have done it a few times and no problems, I just don't do it with chickens
