Anyone ever make up a bunch of fatties and then vacuum seal and freeze for a later date. Sometimes when I get in the mood to do something I like to do quantities. I was thinking about making up 6-8 fatties and then sealing and freezing that way I would have on hand. Shouldn't be a problem should it?

I do this all the time.

Just make sure to mark the freeze suck bag with the date, AND the type of fatty.

Nothing like thawing one for the kids, and finding you thawed a Cajun Hot Jimmy Dean that they don't like (mine prefer the maple variety)

Good luck

at my house that don't happen..although i would like to. my wife wraps and gives to the folks livin around us. and the kids take it to friends house. then there is the matter of the two dogs that have never been fed anything from the table are grill. but they troll those areas for a reason..

The only thing I noticed was the spicy peppery taste was stronger with the ones I smoked after they cooled. I liked the fresh fattys about 45 min after they were done better. They should freeze just fine. Only they might taste better nuked then?
