Now I must learn more! I did have a problem last weekend that perhaps someone here can help me with. My smoker went cold, I was smokin' along at 225 all day then the chamber suddenly dropped to 110 and nothing I did could get it back. I could not put my hand in the side box but I could touch the grate in the chamber.

Wow really sounds like a issue. I am sure someone will be along and help soon. Good Luck

Some more details would help also, like what kind of smoker, what you were smoking, what were the conditions?

A lot of details need to be included to properly diagnose the problem, namely: what kind of smoker, vent positions, exhaust clear, what were you cooking, what fuel?

Welcome to SMF....Sounds like low/no heat for awhile. I would start with the heat source...
