I've never really been involved in a forum, but I'm going to give it a shot. On top of the info in the subject, I'm 36 years old and work in law enforcement. I am also a noob to pellet smokers (been smoking on WSM for years) of which I just bought the aforementioned a few days ago and cooked 3 racks of spare ribs on it last night. Needless to say, here I am. Not sure if I made a good purchase or not even though I got it for $460, but I've got another 87 days to figure that out, per Walmart's return policy.

Welcome. Good to see you here, I think you will enjoy the pellet pooper, I love mine, Have 1 at work and 1 at home. A lot easier for me to use at work. That and it is not easy getting hardwood or any decent wood here for smoking with.
