My prayers go out to those folks at FLL today. I fly into that airport a number of times a year.  Typically this time of year the place is packed with snowbirds and vacationers boarding or returning from a number of cruise ships at the port.

The event today was despicable and cowardly beyond belief. ..But could have been worse. 

I count my blessings that I took an earlier flight out.  It is amazing what a difference a few seconds, moments, or an hour can make in ones life.

Yes, He does. And what a wonderful feeling. I'm glad everything worked out for you. The flight from Greenville ,SC had landed just a few minutes before the shooting. Our WYFF newsman's mother had gotten off and hid under a chair until it was over.

We never know when the craziness is coming our way.

Haven't heard the news today.  Have they figured out the what and why of this.  Too bad they took the shooter alive.

Our good friends parents didn't get out in time.

They were there during the shooting.  

They are ok thou.
