Just bought a 2021 Traverse that has the auto stop start feature... hate it. And no button that I've found to turn it off... so will do some checking.

It's in the dash, but the damn thing resets every time you stop the truck.
I just looked , and mine doesn't have the thing at the battery acc plug . Mine is still on the 2018 factory battery .
Either way , if mine has the device at the switch in the dash , or was disabled with a tune , or it can be disabled in the software , mine does not reset when I turn the switch off .

I did it that way in my first 2018 F150
Used Forscan in the one I have now.

You may have the little ASS (auto-stop-start) delete thing that attaches up by the battery.
I could not find that seatbelt anywhere. I looked through all the modules. I going to try Rich's way.

I use Forscan for my 2015 F250, Replace the little 34 gallon fuel tank with a 60 gallon. Needed to change the size for all the fuel calculation. 2015 is a strange year, not able to set the DTE (distance to empty) multiplier. Still have to figure out how to identify and delete key entries. The wife has lost a few and now I can't get remote start to work on the latest replacement.

Should be in the setup software . I'll look here in a minute . I remember it was hard to find . I got into it when I bought my '18 . Changed the door code to the same as my '05 . I remember seeing stuff about keys .

Only thing I would like to change is the speed limit, it is set at 95, it has the 5.0 and my 02 6 cylinder is 97 🤣 can’t have no v6 outrunning a coyotee 🤣

I don't mind the auto stop start, what I really hate is the poor mans traction control Ford uses. Got me stuck a few times when things got gooey and I ground to a halt after the brakes came on from the tires spinning in the mud.

And I can't get the wife to be lighter on the gas in the winter. Chews the rear break pads off in a hurry.

Yea there's a button to disable it, but I don't usually think about it until it's too late.

This is probably my favorite Forscan mod. Global windows (fronts only, but man is it nice)

also radioguy radioguy - I think what you are looking for is in the BCM

I was going to post the exact same thing. I have an '18 xlt and that feature was only available on the higher end models. Well, that is until I found FORScan.

chopsaw chopsaw , 2019 Ford Limited, may have to try that. Is it doable for passenger seat do you know? Driving around back roads while hunting, or A-B ice fishing, chimes all the time with rider. Have hooked belt behind our backs but PITA
chopsaw chopsaw ,Tried this little trick. Got the passenger side set I think, Haven't had anyone sit yet and move but got the dude sitting to flash. Driver side will not do that, have tried at different times about 1/2 doz times. Push button start (no key) but wouldn't think that would matter. Just pushing ( not holding) the start button is same as accessories. Oh well, will see if worked on shotgun side 🙂

Doors unlocked , parking brake on .
Make sure your foot isn't on the brake .
Push the button ONCE . Twice is run . Once is acc .
Wait for the light to go out , then you have about 30 seconds to do the first 3 .
Light comes back on
One more click in / out
light flashes .

Doors unlocked , no foot on the brake . If you step on the brake out of habit , get out of the truck , then back in .

I have the key start , but took me a couple tries to get it , but it works . I would love to have the remote window thing , but looks like you need the program for that .

Didn't have park brake on, but will try things again. I don't give up that easy 😅.
Like I say, passenger side seemed to take it alright.

Good deal . I didn't list that the first time , because I didn't know it mattered . Love that electronic brake BTW .
